Redmi became an independent brand in china with the launch of the Redmi K20 series on May 2019 and now the Redmi K30 series is expected to launch in the early month of the year 2020. The Xiaomi company said that the separation of Redmi and MI as different brands is necessary to introduce them with unique focus image.
General Manager of Redmi brand Lu Weibing made a confirmation about Redmi K30 to launch with dual hole-punch selfie cameras and 5G connectivity support. It was already in rumors that Xiaomi’s sub-brand redmi is working on its 5G project.
Redmi is always been a brand of budget but now it may change. Lu Weibing suggested that the Redmi K30 5G phone is not going to be among the affordable smartphones. But it might be less expensive than the other 5G smartphone brands in industry.
Redmi K30 features a dual punch-hole front camera according to the recent teaser. General Manager Lu Weibing confirms that the Redmi K30 camera will not follow the pop-up selfie camera like the K20 series. The phone may get release in storage variants up to 128GB and RAM to 8GB. Redmi K30 Display leaks are not yet seen but we can expect the quality to be good like the other rumored specifications.
Redmi K30 with 5G connectivity is expected to have a processor of Snapdragon 700 series. A fast charging technology of 30W or 40W with a 4500mAh battery can also be expected. Redmi K30 pro might also get launch with the K30 just like Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro. We don’t know when the phone will be available in the market but more leaks can be expected to be seen before the launch.
