The League, Dating Apps will Now Give Two-Minute Video Call Option to its Users

The League dating app is all set to introduce a new feature of video calling from December 1. This dating app was launched back in the year 2015 and this month celebrated its 5th year anniversary.

Now the new video speed dating feature of league app will allow users to Face-Time Each Other for the time of 2 minutes. This is most famous and known as dating app for social status-focused people. The League dating app sign up requires the verification of the LinkedIn app.

The new update is known as the ‘League Live’ feature. This feature is for the people who don’t want to just directly see the person on the first date or those who are busy with actual physical dates. The application will match up two people based on their interests as well as location. Both users can choose to accept the suggestion or reject the match.

The user will get two-minute video-chatting dates with connected people. The League CEO, Amanda Bradford says that they have tested the feature and came to the conclusion it is trending among the age group of 35-40 year people. This may be because this age group is the working class and get less time to love life and have to spend more in a career. Users with good ‘The League’ score can use the League live feature.

Earlier China’s top internet dating site which is Jiayuan also did something like this. Tinder, OkCupid, Hinge, Bumble and more dating apps started replicating the idea. Now its to see if the league can also hold its professional users with this video calling feature.
