Huawei company’s ban by the U.S government might soon be lifted up. U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said the administration is working on giving Licenses to work with Huawei.
The U.S. government has received 260 license applications, but there is no information how many applications will receive the green flag. U.S. President Donald Trump banned Huawei because there were some national security threat that were triggered. Till then Huawei is unable to work with any U.S.-based companies after that, which involved Google.
Huawei was given a special license to get an update on existing devices but the new smartphones will not have any OS or hardware from U.S. based companies like Google.
The Huawei was recently rumored to launch its own Operating System and this might turn true if the ban is not lifted. Both the China and U.S. governments are in the first phase of negotiating and there are chances that by the mid of December licenses will be issued for business trades.
Now we don’t have any confirmation that the license will be lifted from both software and hardware components. This report is released by Bloomberg, we can wait for more details to come. Although Huawei is still a second-biggest manufacturer of smartphones. And if the ban is lifted Huawei smartphones might get back to the track.
