Xiaomi has announced its Redmi 8 India launch on October 9, 2019. Manu Kumar Jain, India head of Xiaomi brand confirmed the news of the Redmi 8 launch date via his Twitter handle with a teaser image.

Redmi 8 features include a longer battery life with a limit of more than 4’000maH. Xiaomi Redmi 8 will have an improved dual camera. Redmi 8 full specifications are yet to be disclosed by Xiaomi. But few sources have revealed that Redmi 8 is expected to run on Android Pie with a 2 GHz octa-core processor.
The phone will launch in four different colors i.e. red, blue, green and ash. Redmi 8 camera is expected to have a 12MP back camera and 8 MP front camera. Google play console has mentioned all the alleged specifications of Xiaomi’s new launch.
Redmi 8 will have a 6.25 IPS LCD display with 320ppi thickness and inbuilt 3GB RAM or 4GB RAM. Snapdragon 439 SoC combined with Adreno 505GPU will engage the Xiaomi Redmi 8 model similar to its previous models, Redmi 8A and Redmi 7A.
There’s also a leaked render image of Redmi 8 on twitter which demonstrates that the phone will have a waterdrop – style display. The look of the model is slightly different but the basics like back fingerprint sensor, Xiaomi logo, and type C- port will remain the same.
Lastly, Redmi 8 is a 4G handset and 32 GB inbuilt with 512GB expandable memory space. Xiaomi Redmi 8 price is yet not confirmed and is expected to be under ₹8,999 in India and this sounds like a great deal for its avid users.
