3D facial recognition

Apple has always been different, while the other smartphone developers were opting for the fingerprint unlock system it released iPhone X with 3D facial recognition system. After the launch of the iPhone X soon other companies started inserting the 2D face unlock system but along with the fingerprint sensor. Huawei and Xiaomi started including the 3D facial unlock system, then many more companies followed the trend. The latest Google Pixel 4 also has this unlock system which is been criticized for getting unlocked with user’s closed eyes.

Samsung Galaxy S11 Features is also expected to have a 3D recognition system. Max Weinbach, XDA developer’s tech writer made a post via his twitter handle explaining that Samsung is working on UX_Picasso which suggests the improvements in facial recognition system. ToF sensors in each unit will be included to improve the system for better facial recognition.

Deep Fusion

Samsung is expected to follow another iPhone feature in its next smartphone. Samsung galaxy 11 is working on deep fusion function similar to iPhone 11. iPhone 11 Features a deep fusion processor which powers the system to enhance the image by analyzing it in a quick and effective way. We can too assume that Galaxy S10 has Exynos 9820, so the next phone must have an updated processor. Recently Samsung launched its Exynos 990 and Exynos Modem1234, both of these are based on a 7nm EUV process. So we can expect that this Exynos 990 will be include din Samsung’s mid-range smartphones while upper chipset might be included in its Samsung Galaxy Series flagship.

Samsung Galaxy S11 is also expected to have LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage which will make the phone much faster in functioning than S10 which has LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 storage.
