Google Fixes Pixel 4’s 90Hz Display Issue with New Software Update

Google Pixel 4 is launched recently in the made by Google 2019 event. Before even the launch the phones were detected with several issues by tech tipsters.

Now Google has started to give fixes by software updates. This updates will fix the 3D Face Unlock and Smooth Display issues.

Pixel 4’s 90Hz display only works when the brightness level of the screen is above 75%, now this defect is not shocking. Even premium phones like iPhone 11 and Galaxy Note 10 don’t reach the expectation of smooth display.

Google just released a software update to fix this display issue as well as some security issues. The new update also comes with camera improvement for Google Pixel 4 and Google Pixel 4 XL.

A Reddit user noticed that after the installation of the new software update. Smooth Display settings are now working in 0% brightness. So the users don’t have to worry about keeping the brightness level high for experiencing the smooth display. However there is a green tint on the screen when touched, here’s a video showing the issue.

Google also promised that the 3D Face Unlock feature of new Pixel phones will also receive software update soon. Now we have to wait which factor of face unlock will be fixed. Also, we have to wait to know if 90Hz display fix affects the use of battery.
