Who we are
This policy covers aroundandroid.com ("Around Android", "we", "us"). If you have questions about it, email contact@aroundandroid.com.
What we collect
When you browse the site. You don't need an account to read Around Android, and we don't currently use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Like every website, though, ours is delivered by servers that receive some technical information with each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time of the request.
When you email us. If you contact us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you choose to send. We use this to reply and, for tips or corrections, to look into what you've told us.
Hosting and security
The site is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. Cloudflare processes the technical information described above to serve pages quickly and to protect the site from attacks and abuse. It may set a strictly necessary cookie for security, for example to identify automated traffic. You can read how Cloudflare handles data in its privacy policy.
Cookies
We don't currently set any cookies for analytics or advertising. Our cookie policy has the details.
If we add analytics or advertising
If we start using analytics or advertising services, such as Google Analytics or Google AdSense, we'll update this policy and our cookie policy before they go live. Where the law requires it, we'll ask for your consent first.
Links and affiliate links
Our articles link to other websites, including online stores, and some of those links may be affiliate links. Once you leave Around Android, the other site's privacy policy applies, not ours.
How long we keep information
We keep emails for as long as we need them to deal with your message and any follow-up, and then delete them. Our hosting provider keeps server and security logs for a limited period under its own policies.
Sharing
We don't sell, rent or trade personal information. We share it only with the service providers we use to run the site and our email, and only as far as they need it, or when the law requires us to.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the EU's GDPR or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act. Email contact@aroundandroid.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Children
Around Android is a general-audience site and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll also say so on the site.
