Sony to Expand Business with Four New Flagship and Mid-Range Phones in 2020

Sony smartphone business has been degrading from the last few years. Their sales of phones are continuously falling down. Sony is again ready to enter the world of smartphones with four flagship smartphones in 2020.

According to sources, some leaks are spotted about Sony’s plan for smartphone expansion in 2020. All four flagship phones will be supporting 5G connectivity. Alongside these flagship phones, there might to 3 and 4 mid-range design.

Sony’s mid-range phones are expected to support 5G networks and run Snapdragon 735 chipset. Whereas, the flagship models will be powered by Snapdragon 865 chipset.

One of the first phones might be Sony Xperia 1.1 which we can assume is the successor of Xperia 1. Some rumors indicate that this phone will have a quad-camera system on the back and a 4k display. Xperia 1.1 will get launch at MWC 2020 in February end.

Another phone to join the launching is Xperia 3 after Xperia 1.1. It is rumored that this phone is a successor of the revised Xperia lineup. It might have a triple-camera setup and support Snapdragon 865 processor. Xperia 3 is also supposed to have a curved design at back, 5G support and Quad-HD+ display.

Xperia 5.1, another interesting phone will make its debut in the mid-2020 year. It can be a revised version of the Xperia 5. This phones ios expected to be a smaller sized version of Xperia 1.1. It will also have a quad-camera setup and QHD display.

There another Sony Xperia smartphones Flagship model that will be an all-new ultra-premium flagship named Sony Xperia 0. This can be the phone to have six rear cameras on which sony is working.

The next year’s mid-range smartphones are supposed to be Xperia 10.1, an Xperia 10’s successor. And the successor of Xperia 10 Plus will be Xperia 9.1. Now we don’t know why the company will call it 9.1 instead of Xperia 10.1 plus. Both the Xperia 10.1 and Xperia 9.1 are expected to have 5G connectivity support.

Xperia 8.1 will also make its way in 2020 as the name suggests it will be a successor of Xperia 8. Sony’s low-end lineup is followed by Xperia L4 and Xperia 100. We don’t know yet what camera features or specification these two will hold up but we know that they will be the only phones of sony with 4G support.
